Monash Muggles QUiDDITCH CLUB

Monash University is home to one of the most exciting teams in Australian Quidditch.

Though quidditch at Monash began in 2012, the Monash Muggles Quidditch Team formally made their debut in the Victorian Quidditch Association’s Winter League in June of 2013. Since then the Muggles have battled it out with other teams around Victoria and interstate in various tournaments and leagues, placing 1st in 2014's Mudbash and Victoria Cup, and in 2015's Charity Cup tournament. While still putting out consistent results in high level tournament play 2016 - 2018 saw the Muggles enter a rebuilding phase after the departure of several key and experienced players.
2019 saw the rise of a powerhouse Muggle Team. First winning Mudbash, then VIC cup and finally winning the ultimate showdown of long time rivals the Melbourne manticores at QUAFL.

As the former national champions the rest of Australia looks on in anticipation for what the Muggles can achieve in 2023!

In 2017 the Monash Mudbloods was founded as a sister team to the established Muggles. 2019 saw the Mudbloods excel, with their best place finish in mudbash along with winning division 2 of Vic cup against rivals the south melbourne centaurs and scrapping into the top bracket in QUAFL to achieve a respectable 12th place.
