Quadball Victoria Board Members

Justine Eyre, president

Our association is currently lead by President Justine Eyre. Justine started playing Quadball in Victoria in 2013 and has held multiple committee and executive positions in that time. Including Media, secretary and now president. At a state level Justine has played for both the Victorian Honeyeaters and the Victorian Leadbeaters.

Nicola has been a committee member of the VQA since 2014 including serving two terms as President as well as being a director of Quidditch Australia. Nicola plays for the Melbourne Manticores at a club level, Victorian Leadbeaters at a state level and the Australian dropbears at a national level.

James Brooks, Secretary

James Brooks returns this year to help as secretary of QV. James has previously held positions on the executive board as treasurer and vice president.
James has been a stable of the south Melbourne Centaurs since 2015

Mark Kelly,
treasurer

Mark was one of the inaugural members of the South Melbourne Centaurs Quidditch Club and has since gone on to play for the Victorian Honeyeaters at a representative level. Most notably, Mark is known in Australia as the ‘voice of quidditch’ for his commentary at major tournaments, including Quidditch Australia’s State Shield, the International Quidditch Association’s World Cup and most recently European games in 2022.

Ben Watson, general board member

Joining the board in 2024 is Benjamín Watson. Ben is a veteran of the game playing for many teams over the years, including the La Trobe trolls, whomping willows and melbourne manticores and has represented Victoria several times in state shield. We’re excited to see what he will bring to the table this year.

lachlan eyre, General board member

Lachlan joined the VQA Committee as our I.T coordinator in 2021 and has moved to a general board position in 2023. Lachlan first started playing Quadball in 2019 for the South Melbourne Centaurs and represented Victoria on the Leadbeaters in 2022.
