South Melbourne Centaurs

The South Melbourne Centaurs are a community-based team that primarily trains and plays at Fawkner Park, South Yarra. The club welcomes new and seasoned players ranging in skill and experience from all across Melbourne.

The team first made their debut in the Victorian Quidditch Association’s (VQA) Easton Shield in 2014, and have since continued to compete and grow into a force to be reckoned with. Following an excellent year of development in 2017, South Melbourne QC had a dream run in the Vic Cup lower bracket finals, taking out the bracket championship.

To cater for the immense growth of the original team, the Club has intentions to expand into two teams at the beginning of 2018. Our aim is to continue fostering a growing community, providing both strong competitive and social environments for all players.

The teams train weekly under the guidance of James Brookes (Coach) and Michael ‘Dundee’ Braham (Captain) of the Victorian state squad.
