Blackburn Basilisks Quidditch Club

Having started as a community team serving the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, the Blackburn Basilisks have now grown and feature and welcome players from across Victoria. With the 2014 Easton Shield Premiership, and back-to-back appearances in the 2014 and 2015 Victoria Cup Grand Final, the Basilisks have consistently proved to be a serious contender both at state- and national-level competitions.

Throughout the years, the Basilisks have prided themselves on providing a welcoming and social environment for members, while also assisting all players to reach their peak. 2016 saw a significant injection of fresh blood into the Basilisks roster, and following on from our recruitment drive in late 2016 we continue to be on the lookout for interested players.

With several senior players retiring leading up to the 2017 season, the Basilisks are actively seeking new members for a range of positions for both new and experienced players. For more information, please contact either Ed Farrell or Bianca Gibson to discuss your interest in joining the team!
